The Asphalt Division is responsible for the production and marketing of the asphalt mix offered by Meco to the public and the private sector.
We currently have three asphalt mix production centers, strategically located. Our main base of operations and our plant with the largest capacity are located in La Uruca, in the West Zone of the Grand Metropolitan Area. We also have asphalt mix production plants in Guanacaste and Puntarenas, to cover the huge demand derived from the development of the tourism sector in these zones.
At each plant of production of asphalt concrete, we have strict quality controls to guarantee our customers that they can always have the best products available on the market.
