It is very important for Constructora Meco to keep strict quality control in its asphalt mixes and aggregates.
For such purpose and to attend to the areas of road and civil infrastructure, Meco works closely with the Laboratory of Ingeniería Técnica de Pavimentos S.A. (ITP), a company that operates two types of work facilities inside Meco, to provide such quality control services.
The first type of facility is a laboratory located in the Asphalt Mix Plant of Meco, where most of the assay work is performed.
The second type of installation consists in the so-called "Plant Laboratories". The installation of these laboratories is temporary, just for the time of development of the construction projects, in order to provide follow-up on the process and the materials used.
ITP operates then as an independent quality control laboratory for each project, whether road construction or civil infrastructure.
Through these laboratories, Meco guarantees our clients the supply of quality products, keeping throughout the process strict control to guarantee such quality products and excellent work.
